Lead Pastor—Faith Community Church—Waupaca, WI

Faith Community Church, an Evangelical Free Church of America, is searching of our next lead pastor to take over the role of senior leader within our healthy and growing church family! God is moving in our church and as our former Lead Pastor transitions into a new ministry setting in Milwaukee, we are trusting God to bring the right person to continue leading Faith Community Church into seasons of fruitfulness.

Specifically, the Lead Pastor needs to be a man who has a proven track record of strong ministry leadership. He needs to have experience overseeing, developing and equipping multiple staff or volunteers to fulfill their ministry potential. He needs to be a gifted communicator who has the ability to communicate God’s Word in an engaging, relevant and applicable way. We’d prefer candidates with a seminary degree, or seminary experience.

Faith is a healthy and growing church which values effective ministry and mission. Currently, around 500 people attend worship services on any given weekend, with over 800 attending special services such as Easter or Christmas Eve. Our church family is quite diverse, with attendees ranging in age from teens, to young singles to retirees, blue and white collar professionals who all call Faith home.

Faith is enjoying a season of health and fruitfulness and values being an externally focused church that actively reaches out with the truth of Jesus Christ into our community and into the world. Being missional is a core value of the leadership and the body here. Faith has developed excellent relationships with our community and beyond, and also enjoys great reputation within our denomination on both a regional and national level. We are blessed with a gorgeous 15 acre campus and a beautiful 26,000 square foot facility that features an acoustically designed worship center, a large cafe area, a cutting-edge student wing and an alternative worship center, all of which sits across the road from Waupaca High School.

Among our greatest assets at Faith is our staff. We have a Pastor of Discipleship, a Pastor of Students, a Global Outreach Director, a Worship Arts Director and an Alternative Worship Arts Director on staff, as well as two administrative and one custodial staff member.

Faith Community Church is nestled in the picturesque vacation community of Waupaca, Wisconsin, which has the small town feel, with the benefits of large cities just minutes away. Among many unique features of Waupaca are the Chain O’ Lakes, which are 22 spring-fed, crystal clear lakes that draw vacationers from all over the country, as well as the 1500 acre Hartman Creek State Park—both of which are just minutes from the church campus.
